Favorite thing about MFMRP: The diversity, culture, and learning opportunities! Training in an unopposed program in Sugarland, TX which is close to home for me will help me grow as a person and as a physician.

What you’re most excited for in intern year: I am excited for this next chapter in my academic career and the fact that I get to do so in Houston with the support of family and friends. I am looking forward the most to learning and practicing medicine alongside faculty and residents that are supportive and kind to each other. (I am also very excited about the free food ☺)
Favorite thing about MFMRP: My favorite thing about the program is the people and the comradery I witnessed during the interview process. In MFMRP I felt seen and valued by every faculty member and resident I interviewed with, and I got to create connections in that short amount of time.

Favorite thing about MFMRP: The people. From the interview trail to match day and beyond, everyone has been very welcoming, and supportive. It feels like a close knit family which I love.

What you’re most excited for in intern year: To be super close to family and therefore also close to delicious homemade Vietnamese food. However, I am almost just as excited to explore more of Houston’s other food, music, and arts scenes!
Favorite thing about MFMRP: I love this program for its wonderful people! My co-residents, current residents, faculty, and alumni all played a tremendous role in attracting me to MFMRP!
